Purpose and Scope

Purpose:
Cognitio Litterarum is an international peer-reviewed and indexed journal established to promote and publish original research in the social sciences, particularly at the intersection of literature and philosophy. Our main goal is to provide an academic platform for high-quality works that explore the deep and enduring relationship between literature and philosophy from antiquity to postmodernism. With a young and dynamic editorial team, we aim to contribute to academic discussions in these two disciplines while adhering to ethical principles.

Scope:
The scope of our journal encompasses a wide range of topics, from Ancient Greek and Roman thought, medieval theology, Renaissance and Enlightenment philosophies to modern and postmodern literary theories. Cognitio Litterarum focuses on the study of the interactions between literature and philosophy, promoting in-depth engagement with dialectical approaches and ontological inquiries. We prioritize works that offer literary interpretations of philosophical texts, explore philosophical themes in literary works, investigate the metaphysical dimensions of language, and analyze literary works from a philosophical perspective.

We support both theoretical and empirical research, comprehensive literature reviews, and interdisciplinary approaches, while also encouraging innovative perspectives in philosophy and literature. Additionally, we aim to assist young scholars in introducing their work to the international academic community.

Each article published in this journal is rigorously reviewed by experts in the field and subjected to a similarity check. Authors are deemed to have transferred all copyrights to the journal upon submission. Submitted works are evaluated in line with ethical principles and may be rejected or retracted if necessary.

Note:
Manuscripts submitted to our journal must align with Cognitio Litterarum's scope and adhere to the format and ethical guidelines set by the journal.
