Cognitio Litterarum applies the Crossmark service provided by Crossref to maintain the integrity and reliability of our published academic content.
This system ensures that readers can verify they are accessing the most up-to-date and authentic version of an article.

The Crossmark icon appears on all published PDF and HTML versions of our articles.
By clicking the icon, readers can find information about:

  • Whether the article is current,

  • If it contains corrections (Erratum), retractions, or addenda,

  • The publication date and DOI details,

  • The journal’s update policy.

Update Policy

Cognitio Litterarum follows the principles of academic transparency and integrity.
When a significant scientific or ethical issue is identified in a published article:

  • Minor errors are corrected via an Erratum.

  • Major flaws or invalid results lead to a Retraction.

  • Additional data or updates are issued as an Addendum.

All such changes are registered in Crossref and displayed through Crossmark.
